Conor McGregor and Ilia Topuria ‘s rivalry is reaching new destinations pulling in new fighters left and right into the hellfire! Earlier it was the remark McGregor made on Topuria that made the latter drag Francis Ngannou into the feud. Now the quarrel between the two UFC stars has introduced Max Holloway into the mix. ‘The Notorious’ went off on ‘El Matador’ and showed support for Holloway ahead of the featherweight stars’ UFC 308 bout. The whole beef took place on X and is heating up more.
Topuria had taken shots at Holloway for losing to McGregor over ten years ago. In response, McGregor decided to compliment Holloway saying that he is, “and always was, always is. 1000% He became way better after losing to me. He actually became an all-time great after losing to me.”
The Spanish UFC trailblazer fired back on the same thread, “100% Max has improved after fighting you. He must have realized that if he wanted to make a living from this, he couldn’t be so bad as to lose to someone like you. Nowadays, he beats you easily. Dustin knocked you out in the rematches, Nate beat you two times, Khabib humiliated you, and Floyd gave you a master class in boxing at 50 years old. Take a seat kid. you’re a fake fighter.”

You might think this is the end but the fire kept blazing on X and after this, the next left hook came from ‘Mystic Mac’ who did not say anything but uploaded a well-crafted collage. These photos were of the dual-weight star and Topuria, side by side with some pretty similar aspects like a back tattoo and their chest tattoo as well as them causing a scene in the UFC presser. Looks like the Dubliner insinuated that ‘El Matador’ copied him. Do you think Topuria who is going to take on Holloway at UFC 308, was silent? Oh no, he was not! He came with his counterstrike and wrote on X, “Everything looks better on me. I’m more handsome, richer, and a better fighter than you.”

So the featherweight star is fighting Holloway inside the octagon and McGregor outside of it, making the latter regret it big time. The Irishman decided to bring another Russian Featherweight star, Artem Lobov into the mix of a now-deleted three of X posts. He commented, “Artem Lobov re–rd haha.” You might be a little confused by this epic tale of online battle so here is the back story. Once good buddies and training partners, McGregor and Lobov had a clash of friendship a few years ago when Lobov decided to sue the Dubliner for millions over the Proper 12 whiskey deal that made McGregor $600 million richer.

Now back to the latest feud, the Georgian-Spanish fighter took a jibe and said, “Tell me who you are with and I’ll tell you who you are,” explaining that McGregor was as much a “re–rd” as his friend Lobov. Finally, Topuria made McGregor regret his decision because the online brawl ended with Topuria asking ‘The Notorious’ to watch his fight with Max Holloway at UFC 308. On top of that Topuria also revealed a fault in Holloway’s armor before the fight raising the anticipation for the Abu Dhabi PPV.

Ilia Topuria revealed a weakness of his opponent Max Holloway ahead of their fight
‘El Matador’ seems pretty confident that he will beat ‘Blessed’ in their October 26 bout. While speaking to Ariel Helwani on the latter’s YouTube channel, the champion felt that the face-off revealed a weakness of Holloway.

He highlighted the replies that ‘Blessed’ was giving and it looked pretty stock to the Georgian-Spaniard. “When I was talking to him he was all like [When the interviewer asked him] ‘Max do you think you’re going to win?’, [Holloway would say] ‘We’re gonna find out October 26.’ ‘Max, what’s your surname?’ ‘We’re gonna find out October 26.’ Everything I understood from that conversation was ‘We will find out what happens on October 26.’ I already know what’s gonna happen on October 26. I don’t need to wait till that date,” Topuria said to Helwani.
However, it is known that Holloway is not really a trash-talking kind of fighter and generally respects his opponents. On the other hand, ‘El Matador’ goes all out with his trash-talking like his rival McGregor. For now, it looks like Topuria won the online feud against McGregor. And as usual, ‘The Notorious’ has deleted all of his jibes from this exchange. But who do you think will win this fight between Topuria and Holloway? Are Conor and Ilia on a collision course?
