It can’t be said for certain what’s going through Conor McGregor’s mind. The Chandler fight has long been delayed for one main reason mainly. That reason was McGregor’s stint with the USADA. The fighter couldn’t quite enter the testing pool soon enough and hence, couldn’t be cleared to fight this year.
Now, he and Chandler hope that the fight will go down in April next year at UFC 300. An ambitious match-up that has had a build-up like no other in recent times. However, ‘The Notorious’ has previously fought in three different weight divisions.
He’s fought in welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight divisions before, manipulating his weight each time a new challenge presented itself. Now, the fighter has hinted at his ambitions for his next fight, however, it looks vague from what little information he had to give his fans.

Under the story, was a post showing the fighter poses for his weigh-ins at three different weight classes. Clearly, the next fight will be even more exciting as new revelations are dropped.

What’s Michael Chandler’s weight class?
Michael Chandler currently competes in the lightweight division of the UFC. So heading into his next fight, either McGregor will maintain his lightweight status or both the fighters could move on to a different weight class altogether. No titles are on the line so a massive change seems unlikely.

However, to keep things fun and entertaining, the UFC could make an interesting decision going into the fight. The only way to find out is by waiting.
