Former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor has co-starred as the antagonist in the remake of the 1989 cult classic, Road House. The remake features Jake Gyllenhaal as the main lead. Given that the movie is set to release on 21st March 2024, both McGregor and Gyllenhaal have been making subtle promotions for the movie.
Despite most fans anticipating for the Irishman’s return inside the cage, hopefully, fans will gladly accept to watch ‘The Notorious’ making his debut on the movie screen. McGregor is known for collecting tons of sports and luxury cars through his earnings. One of Gyllenhaal’s recent reels featured one of them.

Gyllenhaal took to Instagram to post a video of him pulling Conor McGregor’s vibrant-colored Ferrari 488 spider. As of now, the sports car is estimated to cost roughly around $239,950 and some might even go for more or less, as it is now a discontinued car that is no longer produced in the world.
In the video posted by Gyllenhaal, he could be seen struggling to steal McGregor’s car. He wrote a caption which read, “Conor doesn’t know, but I stole his car. Flintstones style. #roadhouse”
The Notorious responded to the reel of the movie star by first commenting on the reel, writing, “I robbed it too hahaha”. And even reposted it on his story with the caption “Hands off! I worked hard for this car!”

The Irishman’s bold claims of surpassing Dwayne Johnson with ‘Road House’
The Trailer for the action-packed movie ‘Road House’ had fans surprised seeing the Irishman play such a big role in the movie. The Notorious would later go on to make a very bold claim which would let people assume that the 35-year-old made quite a big paycheck for the movie. Even leading people to speculate that he had earned more than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson himself.

Conor McGregor in a tweet that has now been deleted wrote. “Highest-paid first-time actor of all time”, which would suggest that the Irishman had surpassed the former WWE athlete in terms of earnings from a movie.

Despite McGregor’s claims, the Irishman’s deleted tweet is yet to have any factual relevance to back his statement. However, given McGregor’s popularity, it wouldn’t be a surprise if ‘The Notorious’ managed to accomplish what he stated in the future if he pursued acting full-time.
