Conor McGregor is clearly watching UFC Atlantic City. ‘The Notorious’ is one of the most entertaining UFC fighters out there, and while he is away from the cage, that doesn’t keep him from watching all the action unfold. Currently, UFC Atlantic City is ongoing, and some fighters seem to have gotten his attention.

At first, McGregor wondered who Connor Matthews was. Matthews, who’s on the Fight Night card, was meant to go up against Dennis Buzukja. However, his name is the same as the Irishman, and that didn’t quite sit well with him. Additionally, he also took a dig at Nate Landwehr in a now-deleted X post. Here’s a look.

Conor McGregor is out there sending out digs and shots and then deleting them. In a now-deleted series of tweets, Conor McGregor kept being amazed by the very existence of Connor Matthews. “Who the f*ck is this “Connor Matthew’s” guy? I am the only Conor in the @ufc” he tweeted at first. Soon, the barrage of X posts started.

Later on, in a now-deleted tweet, McGregor also laughed at Nate Landwehr, who had a rather outlandish post-fight winning speech as he was being interviewed by Michael Bisping. “Ay whoop my as* and see what happens, let’s go! Atlantic City, make some noise!” Landwehr said at one point.

“Look at this bicep baby! Let’s go!” He would shout later on. One can see what prompted McGregor to take his dig given his nature. Landwehr is known for always delivering entertaining performances and this was one of them. He secured a second round knockout win over his opponent, Jamall Emmers.

On the other hand, Connor Matthews lost to Dennis Buzukja via a third round knockout. Perhaps McGregor would be delighted knowing that the fighter who is somehow “taking everything” he worked for lost to a knockout. But when is the Irishman coming back to his own?

Conor McGregor announced a return in the upcoming Summer. Was that confirmed? In some ways, yes, in others, not so much. Dana White and Michael Chandler acknowledged the announcement which has not always been the case. At least not for the UFC head honcho.

In the meantime, McGregor also beefed with Joe Rogan over promoting his film, Road House. Rogan mentioned Khabib Nurmagomedov and fighting him versus just doing more acting in Hollywood which prompted McGregor to troll both, ‘The Eagle’ and Joe Rogan from his X handle.
