Conor McGregor Gives a Smashing Response to Weird “Romantic” Question

If one had to describe Conor McGregor and his personality with a single word, the word might be ‘bold.’ His demeanor in all of MMA and the media, in general, is widely entertaining. 

McGregor has built his empire in the UFC from the ground up with a bold and transparent personality who speaks his mind when confronted with a series of trick questions. 

An old interview of Conor McGregor on the show ‘Highly Questionable’ was posted by ESPN on their YouTube channel. Nevertheless, with the Irishman’s fame and notoriety comes a set of personal and borderline weird questions.

When asked about what his romantic side was like, here’s what the former double champ had to say. 

Conor McGregor had the most McGregor-like answer when asked about his romantic side. “My romantic side? Oh god, that’s an interesting one… I don’t know about romance, but I like to get down occasionally, yeah?… I don’t really have a romantic side, is what I am saying. If I go for it, I’m going in for the kill. You best believe that you will not catch me walking down the beach holding hands. You’ll catch me going deep.” 

When one of the interviewers, in a playful way, told Conor that he couldn’t use the same approach towards his girlfriend that he’d use against his opponents, McGregor replied with, “I speak the truth, my friend. What do you want? You ask me these weird questions, I answer you with the truth.”

It is usual for celebrities to take offense to comments made by interviewers. Their sense of discomfort and awkwardness makes it unbearable for everyone witnessing that moment.

The ‘Notorious’ is called by that name for a reason. He remains transparent and never shies away from speaking his mind whenever he feels like it.
