The 37-year-old was having a conversation with former MMA fighter Brendan Schaub on The Schaub Show. During the conversation, Schaub mentioned that Chandler’s knockout power was greater than McGregor’s. It was then that “Iron’ mentioned his prediction for the bout.
He said, “I believe that you know for me but I also, yeah I also think he knows that which excites me… but everybody knows a typical Michael Chandler if I mean I’m gonna put my foot on the gas get in his face put him on his back foot early and yeah try to knock him out.“
He further added, “My Mystic Mike prediction, I knock him out in the second round, beat him up pretty bad. Wear him down in the first, make him second guess himself and then bam, hit him with a hard one in the second. He goes down and we jump on the cage.” From the response of ‘Iron,’ it was clear that he was highly confident about his victory against McGregor.
