Conor McGregor also got in on the fun one week ago, commenting on the video with a laughing emoji.

Wrestling background of Cain Velasquez and Brendan Schaub

But let’s not forget about the two fighters at the center of this conversation. Cain Velasquez is a legendary wrestler, having won two NCAA Division I title during his college career. He also is a brown belt in Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In the UFC, he was known for his incredible wrestling skills, using them to dominate opponents and win the heavyweight title.

Brendan Schaub, on the other hand, was a former professional football player who transitioned to mixed martial arts. While he did have some success in the sport, he was never known for his wrestling abilities. In fact, during his time in the UFC, he struggled against opponents who were skilled wrestlers, often getting taken down and controlled on the ground.
