2025 is going to be bigger and better for BKFC. One of the things the promotion wants to do is expand and, as stated by David Feldman, the founder and president, “Really for the next year we’re going to Australia, Japan, Hungary.” They are right on track with their plans, considering they have an event ready for Australia. It comes at an interesting time because the UFC is returning ‘Oz’ at approximately the same time.
It seems like Conor McGregor, who is part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, has taken a page right out of White’s handbook! The boxing promotion took to Instagram and shared a poster for their upcoming event. The caption of the Instagram post read, “BKFC IS COMING TO THE LAND DOWN UNDER THIS YEAR 🇦🇺 #StayTuned.” Fans will have to wait for further details, but what we do know is that McGregor is quite excited!
He took to the comment section of the post and wrote, “THE NUMBER 1 THRILL RIDE!” The Irish mixed martial artist not only gave a hint that the event would be exciting but also ensured that the suspense made the fight fans wonder about the contestants and anticipate BKFC’s next announcement.

‘The Notorious’ also promoted the $411M worth bare-knuckle fight promotion’s entry into Australia through his IG story. He captioned the story, “And we’re off!” which was followed by an emoji of the Australian flag. But how does that make the fighting community believe that he is following White’s steps?
Well, White is all set to bring the MMA promotion to Australia at UFC 312. The event would go on at Qudos Bank Arena, New South Wales. And after the UFC would leave the fight fans wanting for more, McGregor would swoop in to treat the Australian fans with a bit more action.

Needless to say, the Irish part-owner of BKFC relies on his star factor to promote the fights. But the former UFC champion is also a genius when it comes to promoting bare-knuckle fights. At least that’s what Michael Bisping and Paul Felder seemed to believe.
How is Conor McGregor a genius fight promoter?
On episode #620 of the ‘Believe Me You’ podcast, the former middleweight champion weighed in on the time when Conor McGregor promoted the fight between Jeremy Stephens and Eddie Alvarez. The way ‘The Notorious’ kept Alvarez’s name a mystery for quite a while impressed Bisping.
He claimed that the Irishman actually knew how to keep himself relevant in the fighting world without even fighting. He continued, “If you want to talk about promoting Bare-Knuckle, that is a stroke of genius. All of the headlines are going to be Conor McGregor vs Jeremy Stephens ‘Is it going to happen?’”

Felder was of a similar opinion. He seemed to believe that ‘Mystic Mac’ had simply found a future as a BKFC promoter. Felder predicted, “I think that even if Conor never fights anywhere ever again, I do think that he’s got a future doing this stuff as a promoter… I mean, he’s got crazy energy [and] he’s insanely popular.”

“No matter what he does, people are tuning in whether it’s good news or bad news, fight news, outside-of-the-fight news, if he’s on a bus with Jake and Logan Paul – people want to know what he’s up to and what’s going on.”

However, McGregor still has two fights left in his UFC contract. And while under contract with the UFC, fighting for BKFC might have some legal repercussions. Well, that’s what Felder thought. Regardless, it is pretty clear that the Irish fighter is completely invested in his role as a fight promoter, and his presence would certainly take BKFC to great heights.
