Conor McGregor appears to have gone ballistic on Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media. He lambasted ‘The Eagle’ who claimed in a recent video that Ireland doesn’t really have a big MMA scene, nor any big superstars. As a response, McGregor not only sounded off on Nurmagomedov but he also shared his assessment regarding the UFC Hall of Famer and his team’s fighting style.

McGregor was certainly not happy to hear his country’s fighters being undermined by his arch-rival. Hence, he took a shot claiming that the Dagestani dugout lacks any kind of ‘creativity’ inside the cage, highlighting their relentless use of only wrestling during fights.

“And all yous a–lickers around the way years stood on no ground for your own. Sickening stuff, look at yous now. You deserve exactly what’s there for yous, not a thing. Nothing. Traitorous b-ms. The Yellow teeth’s we call ya’s,” Conor McGregor tweeted. “Pea brains in a cage. Panache = zero. Creativity = poop. Wherewithal = fart. Embarrassing to me.”

In a subsequent tweet, the Dubliner also suggested that Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t mention him in any capacity in the future, but why? Well, the Irishman claims to be on a level about the 29-0 legend. “Never speak my name, you are not on my level. We are not the same. I don’t represent you are any of you,” McGregor added. “I represent greatness.”

Meanwhile, McGregor isn’t the only one to have refuted Khabib Nurmagomedov’s claims about Irishman MMA. In fact, an English fighter stood up for Ireland, claiming that they’ve produced more fighters than ‘The Eagle’s native country of Russia in one particular aspect.

Darren Till issues a response to Khabib Nurmagomedov amid controversy

Unlike Conor McGregor, there’s no animosity between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Darren Till, but the former UFC star doesn’t agree with the Hall of Famer’s claims. Given the size of Russia, Till believes Khabib’s country should have been able to produce more fighters, especially due to its population. That’s where the Liverpudlian claims Ireland is excelling more than Russia.

“I’ve always respected Khabib and his team a lot, they are fantastic fighters. But for him to sit there and say fighters from Ireland are low level in comparison of sizes of countries and production Ireland is actually way ahead,” Darren Till responded to ‘The Eagle’ on X. “Ireland is so f***ing small and Russia is so f***ing big Ireland has produced amazing fighters over the years.”
