Fans were quick to mention the news of McGregor and his issues with pre-fight testing by USADA.

While others claimed that McGregor will not be able to handle Chandler on his return.

His absence from the testing pool seemed to be the main concern for others.

Once more, fans were quick to point out if USADA will even allow the fighter to compete.

Other fans questioned the choice of date for his fight, with a sarcastic comment involving the seasonal flu

Some fans were quick to point out McGregor’s tendency to remove his tweets after posting them.

McGregor’s struggles with recovery and USADA

It has been nearly two years since McGregor last stepped into the UFC octagon. His absence can be attributed to a severe leg injury he sustained during his fight against Dustin Poirier, which ended in a doctor’s stoppage and a loss for McGregor. The former two-weight UFC champion fractured his tibia and fibula, requiring a long period of recovery.
