Conor McGregor is not enjoying clear waters, and sunny skies, like he used to when he was the UFC’s golden boy and major cash cow. The sun seems to be setting on McGregor’s horizon in the wake of the legal trouble he found himself in with regard to the recent Dublin civil lawsuit. It took just one ruling against ‘The Notorious’ for most, if not all, of his business to take a major hit, and now fans are questioning whether the Irishman will even fight amid all the controversy. However, one venture that hasn’t put out a public statement against ‘Mystic Mac’ is BKFC, which McGregor is part owner of. Now, fans are speculating on a possible showdown between ‘Mystic Mac’ and BKFC’s biggest star Mike Perry.

On speculating a possible fight between ‘Platinum’ and ‘The Notorious’, resident Josh McLean aka ‘Ice Bagz’ let loose on the Irishman, while speaking to Michael Bisping, Mac Mally, and the aforementioned Perry on the Overdogs Bet podcast. “Conor is not fighting Mike Perry in BKFC.  Like zero f*****g point zero one percent chance that Conor steps in and fights Mike in BKFC. None. The motherf****r ain’t fought in four years. Bro, do you think he’s gonna step back in and be like ‘Oh yeah, I’m gonna get my sh*t  f*****g rocked by Mike Perry in BKFC?’ No! Him going in and fighting Mike in BKFC is a death sentence and he fu** knows this.”

The segment went viral on Overdogs podcast’s Instagram page, where Perry himself commented, calling out his previous opponent Jake Paul who he lost to via KO earlier in July. “@jakepaul run it back @bareknucklefc , or even @pflmma run it back, PFL needs that fight, you said it, offered to @natediaz209 , he turned it down, let’s go, your mma debut and my return.”, commented ‘Platinum’. It’s interesting to note that McGregor threatened to fire Perry from BKFC after he lost to Jake Paul.

In the same IG post, Josh McLean said that Dirty Boxing (Perry’s promotion) would be a good platform for ‘Platinum’ to rematch ‘The Problem Child’. Perry replied, “@ice_bagz I mean he said that too, any way to snag him, I just wanna entice him to fight me again only because I can perform better and he knows it.”

While tearing into McGregor, Josh McLean said that Irishman trying to fire Mike Perry from BKFC was a ‘big d*ck move’, and that he actually has no power to do so. On top of that Perry’s new documentary named ‘Down and Dirty’ had some footage where he went into detail about this issue.

“I fought five times for y’all, and y’all ain’t showing me no love. The fighter in Utah who won, flicking me off in the ring. Okay, that’s the most viral thing you can do but b***h, you lucky I didn’t get in that ring right now, I should have. But like, for what? Then Dave Mundell posted shaking Conor’s hand like, you s*cking it bro. That’s why I knocked you out twice you bum, yeah, you heard me”. Despite the fight with Conor McGregor being a fantasy matchup at this point, a prominent UFC fighter offered his thoughts on why this would be a good idea. Let’s see what ‘Platinum’ had to say.

Vicente Luque thinks a fight between Mike Perry and Conor McGregor wouldn’t be so bad

While speaking to Mac Mally, ‘Ice Bagz’, and UFC welterweight Vicente Luque on the Overdogs Podcast, Bagz proposed the idea of Perry vs McGregor in a Dirty Boxing fight which is a promotion started by ‘Platinum’. Luque replied,  “I think Conor is a good counterstriker. But it’s different, even like the BKFC rules – when I saw them, and then I saw how the fighting is, I’m like, ‘Mike can go through this because he knows how to create the range where the guys are gonna either have to commit to fighting or run away and you cannot win a fight like that like in this way’.”

He also added that a Dirty Boxing fight would be exciting between the two.
