Conor McGregor should be focusing on Michael Chandler for their June 29 bout, but it seems an unlikely foe also has his attention. The multi-millionaire and former simultaneous two-division UFC champion is having a tiff with Arthur Guinness, the founder of Guinness beer! In a recent move, ‘The Notorious’ decided to rip into the Guinness founder on social media, in what could be the beginning of a turf war. But Guinness has been dead since 1803, so what is McGregor on about?
McGregor is perhaps one of the few stars known both inside and outside UFC. Not only is he a former double-division champion in the UFC and Cage Warriors, but also a business mogul outside of the Octagon. ‘The Notorious’ is a Hollywood actor who established the Proper 12 Irish Whiskey brand, the Black Forge Inn pub, and the Forged Irish Stout brand! Much like his opponents in UFC, he has business rivals as well who have been subjected to his attacks in the signature ‘Mystic Mac’ style, and Guinness is in his crosshairs now!

Guinness is one of the oldest and most popular stouts and it has found a foe with Conor McGregor. He was brave enough to go into the enemy territory and slammed the company by joining a Guinness community group on Facebook. He accused the company of being “spies” and “rats” and wrote things like, “I just dropped in the storehouse for a quick shi*e I hope they don’t mind hahaha greedy robbing bast**ds!”
‘The Notorious’ also ruffled some history and said, “Don’t forget, Arthur Guinness was a spy for a foreign government hell-bent on preventing the freedom of the nation of Ireland to act as a sovereign country.”
McGregor is already a millionaire from finding success with the Proper 12 whiskey sales and now he aspires to do the same with his beer business as well. However, nothing comes easy and McGregor is ready to fight all obstacles. It seems like he already has bad blood with Guinness and wants their business in a hostile takeover.
