Conor McGregor is a really wealthy man. ‘Notorious’ used his brand value to good use, setting up a slew of businesses that have made him the richest mixed martial artist in the world. His most successful business endeavor has been his ‘Proper Number 12’, in which his parent company’s majority stake made him and his partners around $600 million.
And ‘Mac’ has started an annual rite of celebrating ‘Proper Twelve Day’ on 12/12 or December 12th every year. And the bombastic Irishman took to social media to mark this year’s iteration of the occasion and tell fans why the day held so much significance for him.

Conor McGregor was the first fighter in UFC history to become a concurrent two-division UFC champion, at the zenith of his popularity in the UFC. ‘Mac’ famously knocked out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194 to unify the UFC featherweight title and become the first consecutive UFC double-champ on December 12, 2015.
In addition, the former champion revealed that his newborn son, Mack, had turned 12 days old on December 12. To mark the occasion this year, the Irishman wished fans and posted highlights from last year’s Proper 12-Day revelry.
“Happy Proper Twelve Day everyone! The 12th of the 12th, December. The day I unified the @ufc featherweight World Title and the day I created Proper No. Twelve! Today, on this one also, my new born son Mack, is Twelve days old! Wow! God is shining! God bless! And McGregor’s response to the tragedy has heightened speculation that he might be looking to get into politics as his MMA career wanes.
