Dillon Danis has agreed to fight WWE star and Youtuber Logan Paul in a boxing match on October 14 in Manchester on the undercard of the KSI vs. Tommy Fury bout. This match comes after years of bad blood between the Paul brothers and Danis. One altercation in a New York nightclub even led to a gun being drawn by one of Danis’s friends during a spat with Logan.
Well, it seems the two finally will have the opportunity to settle their differences in the ring. If Danis shows up, that is. Many fans have been skeptical believing Danis will pull out, given his track record. The 29-year-old was scheduled to fight Youtuber KSI in January this year but pulled out shortly before the fight. This time, however, it would be much more difficult for him to pull out.

Ariel Helwani, on his MMA Hour show on YouTube, revealed what Conor McGregor told him in direct messages. ‘Notorious’ guaranteed that Danis will show up to the fight against Paul and will emerge victorious.“Oh by the way, I did, you know, have a short DM conversation with Conor McGregor yesterday. I don’t think I’m revealing too much by saying he guaranteed he would show up, and oh by the way win as well,” Helwani told the audience.

McGregor and Danis are friends and also train together. Besides McGregor’s assurance, there is another strong reason for Danis to not pull out of the fight. It might cost him a boatload of money if he doesn’t show up.
Logan reveals $100,000 clause if Danis pulls out of the fight
On a recent episode of his ‘Impaulsive’ Podcast where he was joined by brother Jake Paul, Logan revealed what would happen if Danis pulled out without a good reason like a legitimate injury he might suffer. Logan told co-host Mike Majlak that if Danis claims injury to pull out, a doctor of Logan’s choosing will have to confirm the veracity of the injury.

And, if the injury turns out to be fake, Danis will have to pay Paul $100,000. This is a clause in the contract that they have signed for their fight. “A doctor of our choosing has to verify the injury. And then, if he (Dillon) is indeed faking it, he has to pay a hundred thousand dollars,” Logan said.
