Conor McGregor‘s recent legal issues have stirred up a lot of doubts about his probable UFC comeback. Furthermore, the business aspect of his life took the brunt of the legal fallout since he got dropped by the Proper No.12 whiskey brand and even had several business deals falling through. And now, it seems like the worst is yet to come because McGregor could also lose the most important of his possessions – his massive Ireland mansion.
Recently, Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s team’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, took to social media with an X post insinuating that Conor McGregor could potentially leave his native country of Ireland. There’s been no such update from the Irishman’s side, but Abdelaziz claims that the reason behind his possible departure from Ireland is his legal troubles.
It’s no surprise that Khabib’s former manager and McGregor have never had good terms. Furthermore, Abdelaziz was the subject of McGregor’s vicious assault when ‘The Notorious’ faced off against ‘The Eagle’ at UFC 229. So, it’s no surprise that the Arab-American MMA manager is enjoying the crisis riddling McGregor’s life at the moment. Rubbing salt in the Irishman’s wounds, Ali Abdelaziz offered to buy McGregor’s house, which is valued at around a mammoth $3.66 million. On X, Ali Abdelaziz wrote, “[Conor McGregor] I heard you leave Ireland because [of] your court [case] do you wanna sell your house?”

Conor McGregor has shown he does nothing less than live large, and his mansion is an example of that extravagant lifestyle. For the unversed, his Ireland mansion has over five bedrooms, with a staggering six bathrooms and even a games room. In terms of real estate, that’s a pretty lucrative property to own. Meanwhile, McGregor had plans to build upon and make his Dublin family home even bigger, but that endeavor has hit a roadblock. Let’s take a look at that front.

Yes, Conor McGregor was looking to extend the size of his property, and it was supposed to be five times the size of what it is now. The former UFC champion wanted to build an extension that consisted of a luxury indoor swimming pool, a cinema room, a gym, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and a treatment room all divided into two basements. In addition to that, the home would have six bedrooms, but now it looks like these plans will have to wait.
Having initially been granted permission for his new family home’s construction by none other than the Kildare County Council, Conor McGregor was ready to make extensions to his original home. But his civil lawsuit defeat came in the way, which led to the construction remaining at a standoff until further notice. Before that, McGregor had already demolished half of his property and then decided to do a full demolition for a 100 percent makeover.

The primary issue with the construction is sewage disposal. So until Conor McGregor presents some kind of paperwork by January, things could get hard for him, as the council could decide to reject his application. It seems like the Irishman has a lot on his plate right now, which makes us wonder if his supposed fight against Logan Paul is a cash grab for more difficult financial times ahead. This further casts doubts on whether the Irishman still has it in him to make a successful, high-profile UFC return. Every move on part of ‘The Notorious’ will have to be calculated moving forward. For now, fans can only wait and watch.
