Conor McGregor and Max Holloway’s UFC featherweight record face trouble as Dooho Choi knocked Nate Landwehr via elbows in the final round of their bout at UFC 310. Holloway still remains the featherweight fighter with most wins via knockout. Well, no one is closing in on ‘Blessed’s 9 KO wins. But McGregor has 6 KO wins. Choi just secured his 5th KO victory at UFC 310, which brought him pretty close to breaking that one.
Apart from ‘The Notorious’, Chad Mendes and Cub Swanson also have 6 KO wins to their name in the featherweight category. With one more win to his name, the Korean mixed martial artist could easily tie with McGregor, Mendes, and Swanson for the 2nd position in the list.
Defeating Landwehr with his elbows from a crucifix got ‘The Korean Superboy’ a total of 13 wins via KO/TKO. On top of that, he already had one win via submission, leaving only 2 wins via decision. With a score of 5-3-1 in the UFC, Choi indeed made himself prominent on the MMA maps.

Who will Dooho Choi fight next?
During the post-fight interview, Joe Rogan seemed to believe that UFC 310 was Choi’s finest performance inside the Octagon. “It was just an A+ masterpiece performance.” Choi responded to that saying, “I feel very amazing, I feel very happy. In the old generation of the featherweight division, I was ranked 11. But in the new generation, I’m happy to show that I am at a new level. And I have what it takes to survive in the featherweight division.”
But who would the Korean fighter like to face in his next battle? Well, the fight between Bryce Mitchell and Kron Gracie definitely seemed to have made a move for ‘The Korean Superboy’. Even before it happened, he said, “My next opponent, I am so ready to get Bryce Mitchell. I want to make a great performance against Bryce Mitchell on the Octagon. And I believe if I fight with Bryce Mitchell, I’ll be a featherweight ranked in the new generation of featherweights.”

Needless to say, a fight between Mitchell and Choi would be pretty interesting to watch. But the way Mitchell sent Gracie to the shadow realm might make it difficult for the Korean featherweight contender to secure a KO win against him. That is something only time can tell.
