Conor McGregor is currently one of the most celebrated sports personalities and he’s about to sit next to someone, perhaps even more famous. McGregor has been seen at multiple boxing events during this year. And even as this year comes to an end, fans of both, soccer and MMA can prepare for a timely Christmas gift.

McGregor fighting with Michael Chandler may have been put on pause. However, that won’t stop him from sitting next to Soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo. What happens when two icons meet? Here are the details of the boxing event and the few guests we know of.

Ronaldo and Conor McGregor to be seated close to one another

Conor McGregor is rather good at making headlines. When he’s not sending out hilarious or controversial tweets, he’s attending big events and meeting big celebrities. Now, at the Day of Reckoning boxing event in Saudi Arabia, McGregor will be present in the live audience.

In a recent video that surfaced online, it was revealed that ‘The Notorious’ will be sitting right next to Ronaldo, who signed up with the ‘Al Nassr’ soccer club in late 2022. The legendary player is now a very regular personality at many sporting events in Saudi Arabia.

The two have met before and were also present at the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou bout. The infamous boxing match that ended in a controversial victory for the boxing icon, who faced great competition from the MMA fighter. This time, the hype of the sheer fight might be comparatively less, but big names are still involved.

Promoters like Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn are also about to be seated very close together with McGregor. Clearly, many are excited to witness the thrilling fight cards that have been set up for the Riyadh event. It includes Anthony Joshua‘s headliner event and the boxer is about to be supported by none other than ‘The Last Stylebender’.

Israel Adesanya recently showed up in a fun little video where he was joined by none other than Anthony Joshua. The boxer is preparing to go toe-to-toe with Otto Wallin on December 24th. And there is probably no feeling like being supported by the former middleweight champion.
