Shortly after discussing McGregor, the interviewer asked Liddell about his opinions on Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz in MMA. Following his dominant victory, Paul had stated that he will need 9 months of training before he can defeat Diaz in an MMA fight.
Liddell did not sound fully convinced in his reply. “That tells me he just doesn’t understand the difference. That he has no clue, the difference between MMA and boxing,” he said.
