All is not well for ByteDance and TikTok. The United States has officially taken action against the short video streaming app and it has now been banned in the nation. The company lost its appeal at the United States Supreme Court and now they will have to bid adieu to the American market. As the video-streaming app plans to leave the country, many influencers are bracing for the impact, as a significant part of their careers may come to an end with TikTok’s departure. Amidst the chaos, Conor McGregor has one single response for it.

The TikTok ban will directly affect more than 170 million people who use the app daily. In addition, many sports influencers, such as Tom Brady, Simone Biles, Russell Wilson, and Rob Gronkowski, will lose millions as their follower base will significantly be affected due to the ban. While most of the influencers are stressed, Conor McGregor has come forward to pitch in ‘Triller’ as an alternative.

The former dual-weight champion took to his Instagram handle to share the TikTok ban news and captioned it as, “Triller, is where it’s at.” So, what exactly is Triller? Well, it is an American alternative to TikTok which is a Chinese app. The American video-sharing social media networking app that was initially launched way back in 2015 got an endorsement from one of the biggest combat sports athletes, and given the current scenario can make a strong comeback after staying dormant for a long time.

Why is the former UFC champ promoting the app?  Well, that’s because he owns a stake in BKFC, which is owned by Triller Inc., the parent company of the Triller app. The video streaming app has a considerable following as it is and with TikTok’s exodus from the American markets, they are going to leave no stone unturned to become the prime video-sharing app on the market.

While McGregor is busy promoting Triller’s fighting promotion and video-sharing app, what about his fighting career? Well, Logan Paul might have the answer to that.
