In an interview at the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series, the UFC President dropped the bombshell about McGregor’s octagon return – revealing the Irishman’s next target. Likewise, the UFC head honcho shed light on the Irish fighter’s readiness to step back into the cage. He also shared insights into the upcoming bout that fans have been eagerly awaiting.

When asked about McGregor’s situation and the potential fight against Michael Chandler, White provided a definitive answer. He revealed that he recently had a conversation with McGregor and that the Irish fighter is eager and prepared to make his return to the UFC.

“I talked to Connor – it was either yesterday or the day before. And, yeah – he’s ready to fight…” the UFC President unveiled. Moreover, he also shared his personal advice to the Irishman, adding, “I said, ‘Listen – get in shape and let’s figure this out.’”

Confirming the much-discussed matchup, White unequivocally stated that McGregor will indeed face Michael Chandler in his next octagon appearance. The UFC President’s revelation finally put an end to the speculations shrouding McGregor’s next opponent.

The UFC President backed his views, further adding, “Conor likes to f**k with everybody – you know what I mean. Especially his opponent – or possible opponents…”

McGregor’s propensity to “f**k with everybody” has definitely become a hallmark of his approach to fights. On the same note, it looks like his recent online fiasco with Charles Oliveira and his callout will only fizzle away with time.
