Speaking with Adam Catterall of BT Sports, White said, “I feel like a lot of this silliness is starting to go away. I think common sense is starting to prevail, finally. And uh I am hoping that this year, we are going to come to the U.K. We are going to go to other cities that we haven’t been to in a long time. Hopefully, more out-of-the-country events. So, I am hoping 2022 is going to be the year. I am feeling it.”

“I’d like to announce in the next couple of weeks that we’re coming back to the U.K. and we’re gonna go to The O2 and put on a great show for you guys. And we’re working on big things for the U.K. I am actually excited about the U.K. U.K. is one of the territories I am really excited about and haven’t been this excited about it since 2003.”

The 52-year-old was pleased with the idea of ‘Borz’ taking on Burns, as the former was already on track to fight #3, Leon Edwards.

“I mean, yeah, any of those guys up there. I mean, he [Khamzat Chimaev] was gonna fight, Leon Edwards who’s ranked number 3. He could fight Burns, he could fight Luque,” White said.
