UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Julianna Pena is making headlines since she won the gold from Amanda Nunes. Pena, in a recent interview, called out the WWE Superstar and former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, out of her retirement. ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ calls the potential fight against Rousey her “dream match-up”.
Pena made these statements in Texas while in attendance for Wrestle Mania 38, where Rousey is going against Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Pena reminded that even in the past, she has several times called out Rousey, for example after her famous The Ultimate Fighter win.

“Well, they always ask me who’s my dream match-up and Ronda’s definitely it for me. I would love that fight, I was calling for it after I won the Ultimate Fighter. I was calling for it after I won a few times after winning the Ultimate Fighter… And I would love to welcome her back into the division,” said Pena.
Moreover, when asked how she would call out ‘Rowdy‘, ‘The Venezuelan Vixen‘ perhaps went all out to challenge the WWE Diva. “Hey, Rhonda! Come back to this side, you know, come back to the MMA. Come back to the real world, come back to where you made it all happen and where you got the division started. I want you, Ronda. I want to fight you, come back to the UFC, and fight me,” replied Pena.

After the former pound-for-pound queen, Amanda Nunes, lost her title to Julianna Pena, there was a huge upset in the MMA community. Pena proved her strength and submission game by making the women’s UFC featherweight champion tap-out. After lifting the belt, fighters usually experience a change in their lifestyles. Pena said that her cell phone has become busier since her win. Moreover, she wants to look forward to the rematch against Nunes to secure her title defense. “No, I feel exactly the same; I expected to win that night, I expect to win in the future… I just want to talk about moving forward on what’s gonna happen and getting this rematch underneath my belt,” answered Pena.
