Colby Covington, one of the most polarizing fighters on the UFC roster, detailed the things that make him hate two of his fellow UFC fighters and his former roommates: Jorge Masvidal and Jon Jones. The number one ranked welterweight has got into many UFC fighters’ skins with his witty comments and has cut no corners when doing so.

In an interview with Kevin Iole, ‘Chaos’ said, “I mean, there’s a common thing with those two guys. You’re talking about two scumbags, two criminals. So, you know, who’d want to get along with those guys? Those guys are dirtbags, man.”

“They cheat on their wives, they beat their wives; They cheat on their taxes, they don’t do anything by the law. So, you know, I’m, I’m a big believer of law and order. So, of course, I don’t agree with those guys. They’re scumbags.”

In the past, Covington has shared rooms with both ‘Gamebred’ and ‘Bones‘. Also, ‘Chaos’ has made fun of the best light heavyweight fighter on several occasions, and his rivalry with Jorge Masvidal is well documented.

Colby Covington will look to stay at the top of the welterweight rankings

Despite losing two title fights to the welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, ‘Chaos’ still holds the top position in the welterweight rankings. Likewise, Masvidal has lost to ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ twice. However, the manner of the defeat was the total opposite. Thus, going into the fight, Covington has an edge on the paper.

The former interim UFC welterweight champion has not won a fight since September 2020. To top that, his opponent, the BMF champion, has not had his hand raised inside the octagon since his win over Nate Diaz at UFC 244 in November 2019.
