Colby Covington Blasts Jorge Masvidal in Rebuttal: “He’s a Two-Pump Chump Just Like His Ex-Wife Used to Tell”

The past few weeks have seen close friends turned bitter enemies, Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal, take shots at one another in the most personal manner.

‘Gamebred’, in a series of exposé videos, threatened to reveal the true face of Covington in front of the world. The BMF did so by releasing multiple of them. However, what was surprising is that ‘Chaos’ remained the passive one throughout the saga.

That changed when Covington spoke to Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports and predicted how their UFC 272 fight would end, dissing Masvidal in a crass manner.

Covington said, “I think people know, you know, what he’s widely known for, you know. He’s got some fast-twitch muscle fibers. He’s able to explode at any moment, but he’s a two-pump chump just like his ex-wife used to tell me. So, you know, he can’t last with me.”

“He’s going to gas out in that octagon. I am going to make him quit in front of the world and it’s going to be the same thing that happened every time we fought behind closed doors. The only difference is now it’s going to be on pay-per-view in a live audience. So, you know, it’s a beautiful thing. I can’t wait,” ‘Chaos’ continued.

However, Masvidal wasn’t the only fighter whom Covington roasted in his interview. He was in full swing during the one-on-one and decided to pour out on former rival and UFC legend Robbie Lawler as well.

During the interview, Kevin Iole asked the former interim welterweight UFC champion about the difference in cardio between both of them. When the host praised Covington for his prowess, ‘Chaos’ began to divulge into self-praise. In no time, he landed upon his fight with former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

He said, “Yeah, I don’t get tired. A lot of people, they call me the cardio king for a reason. I got a second lung, you know. What I did to Robbie Lawler, man. His face looked like hamburger meat afterward. He did not look good, man. He had a concussion backstage.”
