Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt has found his replacement fighter for UFC 285. Trevin Jones is stepping up to set a blockbuster fight. Garbrandt suffered a defeat in his last fight against Kai Kara France, and he had moved down a division for the fight. As a result, he’ll be looking to bounce back from his back-to-back losses. Apart from the 31-year-old, former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will make his much-anticipated return to take on Ciryl Gane for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship.

Fans are already reacting to the news of Garbrandt‘s fight. In addition, many are expressing their disappointment over the matchup. Moreover, some have also raised concerns about his recent inactivity, as he hasn’t fought in the octagon since 2021.

Dana White is already concerned about the future of Cody Garbrandt

White spoke about the future of Garbrandt after his loss against Kai Kara France. ‘No Love’ went to the flyweight division in order to take on a new challenge. However, the result did not go his way. He lost the fight in the first round by TKO. This was a fall from grace for the former UFC bantamweight champion. After the fight UFC president was asked about ‘No Love’s future.

His loss against Kai Kara France was the fourth time he lost via TKO in his recent six fights. However, his career has gone through quite good highs. He won the UFC bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz. Although he lost it in his first title defense against fierce rival TJ Dillashaw.
