Coach John Kavanagh responded to Conor McGregor’s video

Conor McGregor recently deleted a video from Twitter where he used the monkey face filter to announce his return. In the video, he said, “I told you I’ll be back.” Then gave a hysterical laugh before saying, “Wakey wakey.” However, the tweet was deemed ‘scary’ and McGregor was asked to take it off the social media platform.

Doubtlessly, McGregor deleted the tweet after fans called it ‘scary’. Coach John Kavanagh conveyed what the fighter was trying to say. Kavanagh responded to the Champ’s tweet and said, “SBGorilla”. The Dubliner trains in the SBG, short for Straight Blast Gym, Ireland, with a gorilla as the face of the logo. Hence, the coach tried to convey that McGregor represented his gym when he put the filter on.

Conor McGregor wanted to go against Kamaru Usman

McGregor previously revealed that he wanted to make his return to the UFC in the welterweight division. However, his choice of opponent turned out to be Kamaru Usman, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’. McGregor has already won at two different weight classes in the UFC, i.e., featherweight and lightweight division. Next, he threw his aim at the welterweight division. He aspired to be the first fighter to win the titles of 3 different weight categories.
