There is more to Sean O’Malley’s knockout victory than just a punch. The recent video witnessed a mind game tactic by Tim Welch which kind of supported O’Malley to claim his victory against Ajlamain Sterling. This raised many questions in the MMA community on the authenticity of Aljamain Sterling. However, the former champ came forward to state that it happened in the heat of the moment and Welch had nothing to do with him getting knocked out.
Under the same video, bantamweight contender, Merab Dvalishvili added a tweet calling out both O’Malley and Welch for a fight, however, he received a prompt response from the champion’s coach who made fun of the Gerogian fighter for his big nose. “Are you that mad I said your nose is big brother?” wrote Welch. This unwanted attack by the coach got the attention of the former champ, who had had enough of the banter.
“Bro dont even fight anymore and be talking shit, clout chasing. That shit might get both ya cheeks clapped Ya Diddy. Let your fighter talk shit, you don’t scrap anymore Jimmy neutron,” said Aljamain Sterling in response to Welsh. When we thought it was over, it was just started as after ‘Aljo’s tweet, Welch came forward to have another tweet where he said that he was just only stating facts and nothing else.

The final response in the banter was from Sterling, who said, “You talked hella sh*t during my fight with Sean. The ref had to tell you to stfu multiple times. I wanted to slap you in between rounds and I regret not taking the fine for that. You should know better as a former fighter and a current coach. You constantly talk sh*t about merab. Let Sean talk sh*t, you don’t need to be chiming in on the sh*t talk unless you want the problems as well. It’s that simple bro.” Besides Welch, Sean O’Malley was there in the banter as well.
Sean O’Malley calls out Sterling and Dvalishvili
The bantamweight champ came to the rescue of his coach after the tri-way banter. O’Malley responded to Dvalishvili with a tweet where he stated that he would beat him and his best friend in a match. “Ima smash your best friend after I beat you. Oh wait nvm already did,” said, O’Malley. This was supposed to be a banter from the bantamweight champ because he has already defeated Aljamain Sterling.

The former champ heard about O’Malley’s sudden inclusion as he took to his X handle to respond to O’Malley. “You’re a sorry a** champion. Keep bragging about a handicapped fight to give you the best odds to win. You’re not a real man my guy. Don’t try to duck the number 1 contender again to fight number 15 this time or some other pointless lame fight,” said Sterling. Sean O’Malley has been ducking ‘The Machine’ for a while now, but the UFC is planning to make the duo fight at the UFC Noche event.
Noneth͏eless, Aljamain Sterlin͏g and Merab Dvalishvili are good friends, and it was evident that he came to his rescue, considering the fact that ‘The Machine’ seldom e͏ngages himself in serious banter.
