Charles Oliveira is not just a great fighter but also a great personality. He might not be as popular as Conor McGregor but the fans love Oliveira for the person he is. On several occasions, Oliveira has found himself making statements that have cracked up the entire MMA world – without even trying.

However, that being said, when Oliveira is in the ring, he can be an absolute nightmare. In his last fight, the Brazilian humbled Beneil Dariush, a renowned fighter in the Lightweight division. Now, Oliveira is prepping himself for a really tough challenge – his second title shot against Islam Makhachev. That being said, Oliveira doesn’t miss a beat as he took to Twitter to pull UFC commentator Joe Rogan‘s leg a bit.

A lot of UFC fighters have said that Charles Oliveira is a really funny guy and that he doesn’t have to even try. This was corroborated when the Lightweight fighter tagged the UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan in a hilarious video of what one can assume, was a mock karate sparring session in a dojo.

The video seemed like a prank where two people were seen engaging in a staged sparring session. The original post came with a caption that read: “Name this school“. Now, Joe Rogan is known for making fun of fake martial arts videos on his podcast and maybe Oliveira was just giving him the source for his next reaction video.

Oliveira and Makhachev have fought before in UFC 280. The Brazilian put up a great fight but the Dagestani proved too much of a challenge for him. Now, after months of deliberation, Makhachev’s next opponent has finally been penciled in on and it is none other than Charles Oliveira.

There were a lot of names that he beat to get his second title shot and this time, Oliveira plans to give it his all. Both Lightweight fighters are going to be headlining UFC 294 which is going to be held on 21 October, in Abu Dhabi.
