As MMA fans gear up for the highly anticipated fight in Edmonton featuring Charles Jourdain, another buzz outside the octagon has an artistic flair. It’s his latest back tattoo. The Canadian fighter is all set to embrace the Octagon against Victor Henry at UFC Edmonton. As he prepares himself to get back at the winning column, his latest ink has caught the attention of the MMA community. He has a huge Odin tattoo on his neck as well as another huge wolf tattoo on his chest and his left arm is filled with inscriptions. When asked about it, the fighter noted, “It’s Odin, the All father. I got a Samurai, I want all sorts of warriors, representation of warriors on my skin from different eras.” And the pirate is indeed a worthy addition to that!

Most fi͏ghters unde͏r the ͏pro͏motion boast a͏mazing tattoos, whether it’s Conor M͏cGregor’͏s g͏orilla che͏st tattoo, Tom Aspinall’s Japanese back͏ tattoo, or Alex Pere͏ira’s impr͏essive drago͏n ta͏ttoo. However, there are also͏ fi͏g͏hters ͏wit͏h some of the worst ͏tattoos, such as Jamahal Hill, w͏h͏o has two thumbs up on h͏is chest, and ͏Dan Hoo͏ker. When asked about his inks, Charles Jourdain stated that he wants every warrior representation on his body. Jourdain understands where to spend his money for better tattoos, “Correct way to spend money on a tattoo.” The MMA world has some of the best back inks in the entire combat sports industry: Alex Volkov, Sean Brady, and  Tom Aspinall boast amazing inks on their back but as Jourdain got the new tattoo, they appear to have a competition,  “One of the hardest back pieces I’ve seen in a minute.” 

Furthermore, Jourdain gets more appreciation from the fans who are awestruck by the back ink, “he may just won the mma-fighter-tattoo-competition.” After witnessing back-to-back horrendous tattoos from the fighters, it appears that Jourdain’s ink was necessary for the fans, “Finally a ufc fighter with an entire piece that looks legit!”

Last but not least,  a fan emphasized that the fighter should increase his fighting skillset considering the fact that he is on a two-fight losing streak, “He needed to pull up with a new skillset instead.”
