Joaquin Buckley, after defeating Nursulton Ruziboev, called out Conor McGregor for a fight. However, that did not go as planned. Soon after the callout, on X, Daniel Cormier replied that it was indeed one of the ‘worst callouts in history’. But the drama didn’t end there. The fight fans have also joined DC in his bashing of Buckley.

Despite ranking at the 11th position in the UFC welterweight rankings, Buckley asked for a fight against one of the most sought-after fighters. Without a doubt, the world began criticizing the callout. Following the same, ‘New Mansa’ recently took to X and targeted DC along with Michael Bisping, and Chael Sonnen, who also raised up their voice on the callout. The welterweight number 11 wrote, “Let this be known @dc_mma @bisping @ChaelSonnen Ya mommas raised some h*es!!!!! Yall really trying to twist up my words knowing damn well what I said in that cage but it’s ok we can all have some fun .”

But Cormier had a response ready to roll out. The former UFC heavyweight champ replied with, “Shut up P***y! Maybe listen. You had a dumb a** call out. You’re getting talked about by 3 of the biggest voices in the game. Maybe listen. It was the worst call out in history. Don’t let winning at few fights at 170lbs get you too excited bruh.”

UFC world bashes Joaquin Buckley’s callout for Conor McGregor

The MMA community took to the comments section and expressed their thoughts. One of the fans called the welterweight prospect’s callout pretty weak. The comment read, “Buckely’s call out was so weak Connor didn’t even bother to respond.” However, it only took a matter of moments for the fight fans to brand the callout as ‘cringe’. “I mean DC isn’t wrong. Calling out Conor at this point is cringe regardless of who talking that sh**,” wrote a fan. Another fan commented, “Him calling out Conor was easily the most cringe thing I’ve ever seen.”

Furthermore, the fans did not seem to take their support away from DC. One fan claimed that insulting Cormier was the worst decision Buckley made. The comment read, “Joaquin insulting DC is an even worse decision. He just took 2 Ls due to not thinking before speaking.” Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “Buckley just starting to get hype and then dug himself a grave.”

The fans simply believed that it was the worst callout ever. “Agreed. Worst call out in UFC history,” wrote one fan. Thereafter, some other accounts deemed the callout as an unrealistic one. “Unrealistic: calls out Conor like everyone in the universe already has. Realistic: calling out a contender in your division.” Another comment read, “Buckley just mad coz they right, worst call out in UFC history. Man won a few fights at a lower weight class and thinks he deserves the biggest name in the sport. Make it make sense.”

Undeniably, the world was in dismissal with Buckley calling out ‘The Notorious’. But what do you think about it? Do you think ‘New Mansa’ did the right thing by calling out McGregor? Let us know in the comments down below.
