Michael Chandler might have found himself in a bit of banter with his former opponent, Dustin Poirier, as his latest comments on Michael Johnson‘s knockout include some playful jabs at the former interim lightweight champion. The veteran UFC lightweight fighter stunned the Tampa audience when he knocked out Ottman Azaitar even at the age of 38 and the MMA community is awestruck by arguably the ‘best right hook’ in recent times. Chandler took his time to praise Johnson with a simple twist of banter against Dustin Poirier, who has responded to the ‘Iron’ in his own fashion.

The former Bellator champion took to his X handle to upload the knockout moment and said, “Best right hook in UFC history. Never forgot this one. #UFC Tampa.” The comment might seem harmless at first, but once you realize that Johnson was one of the very few fighters to knock out Dustin Poirier, things start to make a bit more sense. The former interim lightweight champion took time out of his hand to give a fiery reply to Michael Chandler. Responding to Chandler’s X post, Poirier wrote, “Remember when I beat your a–?
