If you think about the best fight promoter in the business, it has to be Dana White, right? After all, the UFC became the force that it is under his watch. In the realm of MMA, Dana White and the UFC are undisputed and virtually untouchable. There’s nothing stopping the Manchester, Connecticut native from taking his promotion to global destinations. But there’s one entity that seems to be competing with Dana White, at least in terms of breaking into new markets overseas. That person happens to be Dana White’s employee, but also a rival promoter; Conor McGregor, who is making history by ensuring BKFC gains global recognition. Currently, in Italy, the promotion has already set its sights on future events in Australia, Dubai, and even Ireland.
While briefing the media about the ever BKFC event in Italy, Conor McGregor was asked a rather intriguing question: When is BKFC hosting an event in Ireland? ‘Mystic Mac’ was lost for a slight second before stating ’26.’ He further emphasized that next year their team is planning for a premium for the Irish audience, “Ireland 26, 2026.”
Well, Ireland is not the only event that the BKFC is planning. It appears that the promotion is making plans to come to Italy once again before their Ireland event, “I believe we are in! We are coming back to Italy—we’ve already got number two planned—so there’ll be announcements, I’m sure, maybe at the close of the show, about our second Italian event.”

He further added, “We are loving it here! Then we’ve got Dubai, we’ve got Australia—we’ve got a real globe-trotting plan for 2025. I assume Ireland, which has a rich bare-knuckle history of itself, will be in 2026. That’s what I will aim for. That’s what we will aim for!” Well, Conor McGregor is planning something big for his promotion as he himself is readying himself to embrace the BKFC ring. Let’s have a look at it.

He further added, “That is a significant belt to hold in your career. You know, nobody from boxing to mixed martial arts can speak anything bad about a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship world champion. So, for sure, I would be coming in looking for the world title. You know, there are many bouts—showcase bouts, you could say. Mike Perry, you could say. Jeremy Stephens, you could say.”
Michael Chandler has already moved on from Conor McGregor, however, it must be noted that Dana White will not allow his biggest star to compete under any other organization because McGregor still has two fights left under his UFC contract.
