Chael Sonnen Roasts Jake Paul- Calls Him a Gimmick Ahead of Ben Askren Fight

Ben Askren, the former UFC fighter, is seemingly raining down on Jake Paul ahead of his highly anticipated boxing clash. Chael made comments on the upcoming fight after the press conference was over.

Sonnen said, “They’re doing some stuff right. They had the press conference: Jake Paul looked like a fool. That’s not his fault that’s truly not his fault. He’s half doing a character and a gimmick up there, and he’s also out of his element.”

The faceoff between the two got very awkward because Jake Paul looked uncertain about his character and could not perform his gimmick.

Sonnen picked this up and called him a fool. The ’Bad Guy’ was unimpressed with Jake Paul’s mic skills and blasted him for the same in a video.

Chael Sonnen breaks down the faceoff and says, “Paul didn’t know what to do and ultimately pushed Ben in the back and Ben just walked away.

“It was one of these things, but a lot has been made of it. All the way down to Daniel Cormier who waited on it and said okay now I know I’m all in Askren gonna whip him.”

Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen both are rooting for ‘Funky’. ‘The Bad Guy’ thinks Askren is coming to fight not to box and this will push Paul’s limit.

Paul vs Askren is going to be an exciting event as they have already hyped the fight. Askren will look to grind him for a longer period of the fight and would like to finish it in the later rounds. Paul admits he will look to knock Askren down and will finish his career in a devastating way.

People are interested in the fight because Ben Askren is not a fine boxer. He prefers wrestling over boxing in his MMA bouts. But Jake Paul is on a 2 fight win streak where he is looking ready to hand Askren a humiliating defeat.
