‘The American Gangster’ had a very successful MMA career and has also found outstanding success outside of the cage.
Sonnen, according to sources, will be a part of the broadcast crew for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s upcoming MMA promotion, Eagle FC. Others featuring on the commentary team with Sonnen are the former double champion, Henry Cejudo, Felicia Spencer, Jennifer Sterger, and Cyrus Fees.

Before Sonnen started his own broadcast, he was also an MMA analyst under the UFC and Bellator.

The promotion took to social media and announced that ‘The American Gangster’ will officially join the team.
Chael Sonnen will make his debut at Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC this month. He will be a part of Eagle FC 44: Spong vs. Kharitonov, on the 28th of January, 2022. This will be Eagle FC’s first event in the USA. The event will be held in Miami, Florida.
Some renowned fighters who have signed with Eagle FC are Ray Borg, Rashad Evans, and Kevin Lee.

Urijah Faber shares his favorite Chael Sonnen moment
In an interview with MMA reporter Ariel Helwani, MMA veteran Urijah Faber shared his favorite Sonnen moment.
He said,” My favorite text from Chael [Sonnen] of all time—I can’t remember which fight it was, but it was a big fight, for a world championship, and I lost. He said, ‘Urijah, I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve never lost, so I can’t relate’.”
