He said, “It’s an interesting match. We’ve got two guys from California. I don’t know how they haven’t crossed paths yet. Nick seems to make it clear that he’s going to 185.”

“I don’t know what Luke’s gonna do, but it’s hard. Very hard with these breaks.” He further added.

He said, “So that that inactivity is a tough one. Unless you can find a guy in a similar situation. I’m just throwing a suggestion at you. I’m just throwing a suggestion. But I will tell you this sport is a lot more fun when Luke Rock Rockhold in it.”

As a viewer, Sonnen brushed off the fact that Diaz had been out of the ring for five years and was returning to a different weight class. He believes that it is normal for fighters to have a slower start upon their return and suggests giving Diaz some time to get back into the swing of things, perhaps three to four months.
