Arman Tsarukyan brought ended Beneil Dariush as he foretold and stunned the world with a first͏-round knockout. While many are praising the fighter, a significant number of enthusiasts are also calling him out for his scuffle against Bobby Green. The fighter’s ͏beha͏vior with͏ Green has been disappointing, and the com͏bat world is not amused by it.

Green typically doesn’t grab attention for physical altercations outside of the Octagon. However, recent reports suggest that he was involved in a scuffle with Arman Tsarukyan in Austin. Chael Sonnen has expressed his view that Tsarukyan may have crossed a line. Let’s delve into Sonnen’s perspective to gain a better understanding of the situation.

Arman Tsarukyan cannot be defended – Chael Sonnen

‘The American Gangster’ recently made a statement, asserting that Arman Tsarukyan is indefensible. The incident unfolded just moments before Bobby Green was set to face Jalin Turner. Tensions escalated when Green and Tsukaryan confronted each other, resulting in Tsukaryan attacking Green. In the face of the assault, Green had no choice but to defend himself.

Chael Sonnen is a voice that is heard by the combat fans. The former UFC fighter took to his Instagram handle to add a statement about the altercations. Sonnen noted, “Arman got a little too close; can’t defend him on that. He got right up to Bobby, and he did it in an aggressive manner. Bobby stood up; he had to. But now you have a problem. You never let them within arm’s reach.” 

He further added  “As soon as they get in arms reach, you have a problem. There’s no part of that that looks brave or like you confronted a guy. I talked about you, and you went up and you confronted, and there’s not—there’s never has been—when it’s 5 against one.”. Sonnen gave his statement but it must be noted to hear from both sides before making any conclusive thoughts.

Interestingly, Sonnen made another statement about this incident in one of his YouTube videos. The former fighter in that video gave a brief explanation about the situation.

In his YouTube video, Sonnen stated that the incident was bizarre and unfortunate. Sonnen explained that fighters should show respect to each other and should refrain from unnecessary confirmations. “It’s just a very bizarre notion. Let’s say that you’re against me. A person shouldn’t do that, a person should show respect. I hear that word all the time. I mean, that is such a street, gang member term to justify uneducated illegal behavior.” Said Sonnen

Down in his video, Sonnen goes on to have a rant about the culture of fighting and states that fighters should be civil and not act like this. Sonnen wrapped up by expressing that he harbors no resentment towards Tsarukyan, though he appears to maintain a level of skepticism towards Tsarukyan’s stance- “I don’t wish something bad for Arman here.”
