Everything that involves Conor McGregor becomes a headline. Despite spending a lot of time away from the octagon, he manages to dominate the headlines. ‘The Irishman’ recently tweeted about preparing to appear for his USADA testing in the month of February, which triggered a lot of discussions. The most common one is about McGregor using PEDs because he wasn’t tested for such a long time. Many shared this opinion after observing the physique he had developed during the hiatus. Chael Sonnen, though, argues that this is not the case.
Sonnen strongly believes the reason for being away from the USADA is McGregor’s schedule and other commitments.

Chael Sonnen provides input on Conor McGregor & USADA debate
Conversations about Conor McGregor using PEDs have been more heated ever since he announced that he is clear for his USADA test. People emphasized on the word ‘clear’. The allegations started to fly when McGregor started posting pictures of him online, showing how utterly muscular he had become whilst in his recovery. However, Chael Sonnen stands out from the crowd in the debate and provides a fresh take.
During his interview with Ariel Helwani, Sonnen was questioned about the whole Conor McGregor and the USADA controversy. Sonnen confidently responded, “The thing on the Conor situation, Conor’s clean.”
“He’s been trolling, he’s been having fun with people,” said Sonnen. “Come on, a guy doesn’t go out and do crime and document the crime. Conor put the pictures out, he’s having fun with people, he’s clean,” he further added.
Sonnen claims The Notorious had logistical reasons
Helwani questioned Chael Sonnen on the argument between Conor McGregor and Anthony Smith in the same interview. He also asked Sonnen about his thoughts about Conor McGregor’s apparently suggestive remark that he had been ‘clear’ for his USADA test. And Sonnen responded, “He’s creating conversation. Every word he said is to make you insinuate that he is avoiding the pool for scandalous reasons.”

Chael Sonnen even stated that the Irishman’s reasons for leaving the USADA pool weren’t anything that people are talking about.
“I think he left the pool for logistical reasons.” said Sonnen. He further added, “I just bring for you, if he was off doing ‘Road House’ and vacationing and he wasn’t gonna fight anyway. Just didn’t wanna keep up with the organizational side of it.”
