Here are some of the comments from the post.

“That Usman fight really took a toll. I think this dude may have a more serious underlying heart/cardio problem, by round 3 he was gasping for air. Maybe that COVID recovery didn’t go well.” – A fan suggested that Chimaev didn’t make a full recovery from Covid.

“The only thing that can beat this man is his immune system.” – read a comment highlighted Khamzat Chimaev’s constant battle with injury and sickness.

“Not the biggest fan gourmet Chen Chen or the people with that style but I actually feel for the guy this sad to see hopefully everything goes OK for bro l’m Def a bigger fan knowing he fighting a deeper fight also how humble he is after fights he seems like a half decent dude,” stated a fan who had become a bigger fan of Chimaev after knowing him fighting a deeper fight.

“This guy seems to have a lot of health issues. Perhaps the UFC should have a doctor go over him a little more thoroughly im not a fan of his but it’s such a shame to see people’s dreams and careers die early because of health issues” – wrote another concerned fan.

Ex-UFC fighter, Pearl Gonzalez and another comment wished for Chimaev to get better soon – “Speedy recovery. Hives and inflammation everywhere!”

“Get better Khamzat”

“Too tough for his own good” a person commented, giving Khamzat props for his toughness but warning him against pushing his limits.

Judging by some of the graphic images from the post, Khamzat Chimaev seems to be struggling with some sort of skin infection. This begs us to question when the undefeated Chechen will return inside the octagon given that he was considered by fans to win the middleweight title by the end of 2024.
