Muhammad Mokaev has been a controversial figure in the MMA world recently. Despite successfully extending his winning streak to seven fights with a victory over Manel Kape at UFC 304 in Manchester, UFC CEO Dana White unexpectedly announced that Mokaev’s contract would not be renewed. White even suggested that the PFL could sign the talented flyweight. This decision has puzzled fans and analysts alike, with many speculating that the hotel lobby brawl that preceded the fight might have played a role in Mokaev’s release.

While the exact reasons behind Dana White’s decision to let go of Muhammad Mokaev remain unclear, Manel Kape’s coach, Eric Nicksick, recently weighed in on the situation. In a chat with James Mistry on Red Corer MMA’s YouTube channel, Nicksick said he thinks the hotel brawl wasn’t the only problem.

He thinks there might have been other issues too. Nicksick said, “I think, this is my personal opinion, that there had to have been multiple run-ins or other issues they’ve had with him, maybe some other reason. I don’t know. That’s me just paraphrasing the situation. Nut, yeah, I think there had to have been multiple offenses for them.”

Eric Nicksick was the first to spill the beans on the Manel Kape and Muhammad Mokaev hotel brawl in an MMA interview. He said that as his team was heading back to the hotel, Mokaev showed up and asked Kape for a photo to show “peace between Muslim brothers.” While Kape was posing, Mokaev surprised everyone by punching him. This story quickly spread like wildfire in the media.

Since he got kicked out of the UFC, Mokaev has been bragging on social media that other fighting groups like Brave FC, PFL, and Karate Combat have been trying to sign him up. He thanked them all but said he still wanted to be in the UFC. But here’s the twist: someone from the PFL just called him a liar and said it’s not true.

Did Dana White go too far with Muhammad Mokaev, or was it a justified decision?

Did the PFL offer Muhammad Mokaev a deal?

Muhammad Mokaev has become a free agent and is seeking a new fighting platform, with his preference being UFC. Despite UFC CEO Dana White’s silence following UFC 304, Mokaev expressed gratitude to multiple organizations, including the PFL, for their interest in signing him. However, PFL matchmaker Mike Kogan vehemently denied these claims, stating on Instagram Stories, “

This is a lie-no one from the PFL or Bellator spoke to the due od showed even ounce of interest.” This contradicts Mokaev’s statement, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.

Muhammad Mokaev’s MMA future remains uncertain. He recently indicated that he and his team are working on renegotiating a UFC contract. The situation is ongoing, and it remains to be seen how it will unfold.
