The Brazilian MMA fighter Gabia Garcia is all set to embrace MMA once again after staying away for a long time. She is undoubtedly one of the most successful athletes, mainly in the female black belt divisions. Back in 2015, Garcia was scheduled for her MMA debut fight with Jungle Fighter. Nonetheless, the fight never came to fruition. It was towards the end of 2015 that Garcia finally fought her debut MMA fight against Lei’D Tapa for the Rizin Fighting Federation. Her first MMA fight went so well for her that she won in the first round via TKO.

This makes her comeback all the more exciting, as the 37-year-old woman believes that she has so much more to achieve in her MMA career. It was Gabi Garcia herself who made the announcement of her return through social media. She proudly told her followers that she was preparing herself to make a comeback to achieve her goals. 

Additionally, she mentioned that if anyone thought her fighting career was over, that’s not true. Followed by her official announcement, the Women’s MMA Rankings tweeted “Gabi Garcia (6-0) is returning to MMA after over four years with a PURPOSE. The Brazilian hopes to open up opportunities for women of all weight-classes in MMA. Garcia’s comeback is set to take place at 195-pounds. Stay tuned.”

Fans reacted to the tweet that announced her return to the ring.

 One of the fans was way too excited for her return to MMA, he called Garcia “she hulk“.

However, another fan was quite bothered about how things were wrong outside the ring.

Garcia is a part of the Rizin Fighting Federation, she has many Japanese followers. One of them wrote, “Are you finally coming back? I am looking forward” (Translated via Google).

Gabi Garcia has successfully achieved her place in the IBJJF Hall of Fame. In December 2021, she announced her retirement from the IBJJF competition. However, now the fans can expect her comeback sooner, even though it came as a surprise.
