However, the world of mixed martial arts was greatly disappointed at the outcome of the fight between Kai Kara-France and Amir Albazi. The controversial split decision leaned in Albazi’s favor, thereby sending a significant portion of the community to take a stand against the judgment.
Recently, the former UFC champion, Henry Cejudo took to YouTube and shared a video in support of Kara-France. Cejudo claimed that the judges needed to be held accountable. He sent a request for the same to Dana White. Moreover, ‘Triple C’ declared that justice can be served by setting ‘Don’t Blink’ up for the title shot. UFC Vegas 74 indeed garnered a shipload of backlash from the world of combat sports after the controversial split decision was made against Kara-France. Undeniably, the entire globe stood in support of Israel Adesanya’s teammate. Cejudo was also one of many to have supported the New Zealander. He took to his YouTube channel to express his thoughts.
‘Triple C’ seemed disappointed with the judgment and wanted the UFC president to hold the judges accountable. He said, “But, it’s unfortunate where is it that the actual sport is going. Can we clean this up? Dana White, UFC, can we start holding these judges accountable? It’s not right. It’s not right to me, it’s not right to the facility, and it’s definitely not right to Kai Kara-France.”
Furthermore, Cejudo believed that the real outcome can be discovered by running back the tape. However, giving Kara-France a chance for the title was another option to serve justice. Cejudo added, “Give the man his shake, especially if he won. And in this instance, you know, I do feel that you either run it back or maybe you give Kai Kara-France the shot at that title. If this was a title eliminator, the winner of this fight gets the title.”
