Well, Bryce Mitchell is at it again, but this time, it’s not about the culprit of World War II. Instead, the UFC featherweight fighter issued a response to his “haters” as he put it, regarding his theory that the earth is flat. Mitchell has been a staunch supporter of the flat Earth theory, and as expected, fans also had some things to say to the 30-year-old Kansas native.
“When you realize that the Earth is an enclosed system; there is a firmament over it, just like the Bible says, and that the sun and the moon are the exact same size and that they circle the Earth, you’re gonna realize something intelligent put that here for life on this planet,” Bryce Mitchell stated over seven months ago. His high-profile podcast appearance with Patrick Bet-David, where he provided his argument about his theories, ended up being a controversial one as he tried to convince people about the flat earth theory.
He gained traction on social media and ‘Thug Nasty’ recently claimed that he’s aware of the backlash he’s getting regarding his comments about a variety of topics he talked about in that episode. However, he still seemed particularly determined to prove that the Earth is flat by using a helicopter as an example.

“I stated that you can prove the earth don’t rotate because we can take a helicopter, hover it 20,000 feet for 24 hours, and come back down on the same spot,” Bryce Mitchell stated in an Instagram post. “Everybody said, ‘Oh, the helicopter has inertia.’ I know what inertia is. I’m not stupid.”

Mitchell even drew a diagram to substantiate his claims, and what followed was a barrage of responses from the fans, and most of them did no favors for the UFC featherweight. Let’s take a look at what the fandom had to say.

Fans want an expert to have a conversation with Bryce Mitchell
A tough loss can often change a fighter, from his approach to fighting to his own personality. Some fans seem to suggest that Bryce Mitchell may have suffered that fate when he got knocked out cold at UFC 296 by Josh Emmett, dropping to the mat and convulsing for a few seconds. “Dude hasn’t been the same since that emmet KO,” a fan commented. Some people are willing to volunteer and go word-for-word with the UFC featherweight fighter. “My brother, I will sit with you and I’ll explain to you why the Earth is circle.”
An Instagram user said, “The Talmud also says the earth is flat,” providing evidence to prove the UFC fighter wrong. But wouldn’t it be better if a scientific expert took the reins and sat down with Bryce Mitchell? That’s what an Instagram user suggested, picking Neil deGrasse Tyson to be the man for the job. “Somebody call Neil Degrass Tyson.” The diagram that Mitchell drew, to explain his theory, caught one fan by surprise. He found it humorous and claimed that it was like an infant had done. “Lost me at the picture his kid drew,” he commented.

Some more hilarious reactions include an unusual comparison between Bryce Mitchell and his employer, Dana White. “I can almost guarantee you have a higher IQ than Dana White,” claimed an Instagram user with another suggesting it’s better for ‘Thug Nasty’ to put his theories to bed. “Just leave the flat earth stuff alone. Love ya Bryce. But man come on bro.”
Bryce Mitchell is not the only person who believes that the Earth is flat, many others do too. So let us know what you have to say about the 30-year-old and his response to fans as he doubled down on his claims. Drop your comments below.
