In 2015, Ronda Rousey, one of the greatest female fighters in UFC history, suffered her first-ever defeat in the division. However, in her quest to return to the win column, she clashed against Amanda Nunes, yet another well-known opponent, in 2016.

At the time, ‘Rowdy’ presented ‘The Lioness’ with one of the hardest challenges of her career, as the latter was riding an undefeated four-fight winning run. However, many people were dubious about Rousey’s recovery following her first defeat.

But Miesha Tate, an arch nemesis of Rousey’s and a fellow UFC fighter, was confident that the American wrestler wouldn’t fare well against Nunes in the cage. ‘Cupcake,’ who had previously faced a loss against the Brazilian fighter at UFC 200, foresaw ‘Rowdy’s’ defeat.

During the UFC 207 pre-fight show, Tate said, “I have never been hit that hard in my life. So she (Amanda Nunes) packs one heck of a punch. And I tell you one thing, it’s only gonna take one of those to land clean.”

“I think it’s gonna ring Ronda’s bell. If she can get into that clinch and she can get it down to the ground, you know that’s Ronda’s playground, we will know that. But if she takes one of those on the b*tt, man, I am telling you it’s gonna be a game changer,” Tate concluded.

Tate actually pulled a Conor McGregor-esque prediction. The Brazilian ‘Lioness’ battered ‘Rowdy’ with numerous hard blows until the referee jumped in and stopped the bout in just 48second of the first round.

Following her second defeat in the UFC, Rousey parted ways with the promotion. Meanwhile, Nunes is still active in the UFC and is looking to avenge her recent loss this weekend.
