Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th US President. His inauguration ceremony was attended by some of the biggest personalities from all walks of life. From fight promoters to business moguls, the evening was filled with big names in the modern media and pop-culture landscape. Though unsurprising, Joe Rogan made an unexpected and rare appearance with his wife, Jessica Ditzel. And guess what, the American netizens didn’t seem too thrilled about it.

The comedian and podcaster makes numerous public appearances, but mainly limited to comedy shows, and of course, his UFC gig. But he is hardly seen with his wife, Jessica Ditzel, especially in public. She tends to maintain a low profile, but given that Rogan was officially invited for the inauguration, it’s no surprise that she attended the event as his plus one.

All the people you’d expect were present there when Donald Trump officially became the US President for the second time in his political career. Even rival tech moguls Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, who don’t see each other eye to eye and even wanted to fight each other at one point, made their presence known at the inauguration. As you’d expect, the person who wanted to make that fight happen –  Trump’s friend and most vocal supporter – Dana White, was present there.

Meanwhile, American citizens were glued to the screens as it marked an auspicious day for their country. But were they amazed or surprised to see Joe Rogan and his wife there at the Capitol Building? Well, not so much because they didn’t hold back in launching jibes at not only the UFC commentator but at his wife in a Reddit post. Here’s what they had to say.

Netizens roast Joe Rogan and his wife on social media

For starters, some fans appeared taken aback by Joe Rogan’s wife’s looks, claiming to have never seen Ditzel alongside the UFC color commentator. On seeing her making a public appearance, one fan stated, “I have seen her before next to Joe in the UFC event. She is better looking than this picture.” Some even lauded Rogan’s choice of outfit, claiming, “That black suit with black shirt and tie though. Power move.”

On the other hand, some Reddit users didn’t believe Joe Rogan belonged at the inauguration event, but why? Well, judging by the comments in the picture, they claimed that the 57-year-old’s facial expressions indicate that he doesn’t want to be there at all. “He is so lost lol. He has no idea what anyone is talking about,” a Reddit user stated. The jibes just kept coming as fans mocked Rogan’s short stature. “Joe concentrating on balancing on the apple box so he only looks marginally shorter than his broad.”

In a hilarious take from a UFC fan, he claimed that the reason Joe Rogan doesn’t seem amused in the picture was because he picked Umar Nurmagomedov to defeat Merab Dvalishvili, which didn’t happen. “Joe’s probably thinking why he put his money on Umar over Merabi.” Meanwhile, his wife wasn’t safe from the Reddit users’ jibes.

When the netizens turned their attention to Jessica Ditzel, they claimed that she might have surgically altered her appearance. In that regard, a Reddit user commented, “Wife has one of those busted plastic surgery faces.” Then again, another user claimed that Joe Rogan’s wife shared an uncanny resemblance to an adult actress. “His wife looks like Nikki Benz lol.”
