Gordon Ryan and Nicky Rodriguez have been feuding for years now. The two BJJ maestros don’t let go of any opportunity to put each other down. After Nicky ‘Rod’ talked about an offer from the WWE, Gordon Ryan slammed him calling him a “fraud.” Ryan pointed out that he was the one who got Rodriguez a tryout in the WWE. The newest chapter in the old feud will add fuel to the fire.
As reports came out about Nicky Rod being invited for a tryout and getting offers to train with Shawn Michaels and Triple H, Gordon Ryan posted a story on Instagram slamming the claims from ‘Rod’. He claimed that it was he who got Nicky Rodriguez a tryout many years ago.

Responding to reports of Nicky Rodriguez getting an offer BJJ, king Gordon Ryan said, “Fun fact- Idk what is currently going on. But I got Nicky Fraud that try-out spot back in the day because I used to teach privates to Shane McMahon. He did 1 tryout and they cut him and didn’t call him back. Whether they are in talks now Idk, but the first part is 100% false. Must be nice building an entire career around lies.”

The two BJJ icons have been at war for years now. The two have fought each other twice. Both times Gordon Ryan was the winner, but the latest encounter was a close save for Ryan. Rodriguez took the fight into the EBI overtime at UFC Fight pass invitational 3. He was also able to deal some damage after a cracking sound was heard when Ryan was put in a heel hook.

While Gordon Ryan had alleged ‘Rod’ for greasing after their second fight at UFC Fight pass invitational. Nicky Rodriguez, on the other side, had accused Ryan of using steroids. “His biggest thing is steroids.”
