We can all agree that Conor McGregor is the one fighter who has dominated the realm of mixed martial arts with his fame. Not only has ‘The Notorious’ succeeded in building a career in MMA, but he has also ventured into business as well as the cinematic universe. And when it comes to his fans, he agrees to do almost everything. And that involves swapping his smoldering looks for a pleasant smile. 

Well, that’s exactly what happened when Sami Aziz, the famed street photographer on social media, had a chance encounter with the former UFC double champion. Without wasting a single moment, the photographer asked if he could take a portrait of ‘The Notorious’. Of course, McGregor wasn’t shy of giving a portrait. He uttered, “Yeah, sure,” as he agreed to the request and shook Aziz’s hand. 

The street photographer took a few steps back and took a quick snap with a telephoto lens. But he didn’t seem to like McGregor’s initial smug look and shouted, “Smile bro!” This urged the Irish mixed martial artist to show his pearls and the picture turned out amazingly friendly. Aziz made sure that he posted the footage of his interaction with McGregor on Instagram. He captioned the post, “I just met Conor McGregor 😂📸,” and tagged ‘The Notorious’.

As soon as the post hit the social media platform, the netizens swooped down to the comments section and revealed their thoughts. Needless to say, the fanbase was split into factions. Let’s see what the fans had to say, shall we?

Conor McGregor leaves the internet wide-eyed

One of the first people to react to the video was Paulo Costa. The Brazilian fighter dropped down a set of emojis. He commented, “💪😁😁😁.” However, one of the fans noticed Conor McGregor’s behavior and claimed in disbelief, “Buddy is zapped.” Meanwhile, a few others reflected on the rumors of the Irishman apparently being involved in narcotics. A comment read, “If you was a street dealer he would of smiled instantly.’

No doubt, the fight fans were amused by the way Aziz asked the former double champion to smile. One fan commented, “Smile bro lol 😂.” Meanwhile, another fan added, “I appreciate the smile 😀.” The smile did succeed in making McGregor look less intimidating. But there were some people who thought that there was no need for him to smile for a street photograph. The comment read, “Why ask him to smile? It’s not a kindergartener’s school pic. He’s a fighter. Let him mean mug lol. It would have been a better pic.”

Nevertheless, the appreciation for ‘Mystic Mac’ was palpable. One of the fans wrote, “Conor always show love fr.” While another fan pointed out that ‘The Notorious’ has often stepped forward to entertain his fans. The comment read, “Connor always have good vibe for his fans.”
