The UFC has no shortage of inkheads on its roster. After all, some of the biggest stars such as Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Tom Aspinall’s bodies are more of a canvas than flesh. While UFC welterweight star Bryan Battle does not have as many tattoos as these other guys, his choice of tattoos can be best described as quality over quantity.

After all, he has some of the most beautiful tattoos in the entire roster, which one cannot help but marvel at. The American has his tattoos done at the ‘Blaq Lyte Tattoos’ parlor in Charlottesville, North Carolina, which, it is worth mentioning, does provide a pretty good service. In this article, we take a closer look at all of ‘The Butcher’s tattoos and what they mean.

Bryan Battle’s piece de resistance is his fantastic back tattoo. The tattoo is pretty huge, going from his lower back to his neck and continuing on to his right shoulders, bicep, and wrist. This tattoo is of ‘Shenron’, the eponymous dragon from the cult-hit anime, ‘Dragon Ball Z’. Surrounding Shenron are the dragon balls, which are also an important part of the series.

It is safe to say that the welterweight is a huge fan of the anime, and proudly wears it on his body. ‘The Butcher’ has gone all out for the tattoo, since it has been done in color, with Shenron being accurately represented as green and orange, while the dragon balls are done in orange. While this tattoo may be the most beautiful on his body, it pales in creativity to the next tattoo we will discuss.

Bryan Battle has tattooed his MMA record!

Another unique and very creative tattoo that Battle has on his body is his pro-MMA record. Thankfully this tattoo is not done in numeric, since it would be extremely difficult to update it after every fight. Instead, the tattoo, which is on the left side of his torso is done in tally marks.

His wins get a black tally mark, while a loss gets a red one. “One tally mark for every sanctioned fight I’ve had. I get a black tally mark for every win and a red one for every loss. Very cool to get my first all-black set of tally marks 😭🙌🏽 shoutout to @blaqlytetattoos for the work 😤🔥,” ‘The Butcher’ would tell fans on Instagram immediately after getting the tattoo.

Bryan Battle, of course, won the middleweight bracket of season 29 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ back in 2021. How much this achievement means to ‘The Bucher’ is clear from the act that he has the words ‘TUF’ with a crown over it tattooed on his right thigh. His other thigh has a hilarious tattoo of ‘Winnie the Pooh’s head wearing Samurai armor, surrounded by two curved swords, done in full color.

‘The Butcher’ also seems to be quite fond of floral patterns, which is evident from his flower tattoos on his left arm. In addition, he has two other tattoos- one on his left shin and another on his right one, both of which are not legible. Which of Bryan Battle’s tattoos are your favorite?
