Dricus Du Plessis just stunned the world, yet again by conquering Israel Adesanya via submission in round 4. He successfully defended his 185-pound title and now is having the time of his life before going to his next opponent. He was not just drinking away after the fight concluded but was apparently drinking before the event even started!

He beat two-time champ Israel Adesanya and their long-going beef about the ‘real African’ fighter ended on a positive note. After the fight ended, Adesanya had no hard feelings, and even Du Plessis thanked and apologized to Izzy’s parents after the fight for any offense he might have committed. Izzy too reciprocated with the same show of respect for his opponent and said that he was powerful. 

On top of that fans were already shocked with DDP drinking before the fight. A video footage of ‘Stillknocks’ had gone viral and it showed the 30-year-old singing along with other partygoers while saying, “Izzy, who the f*** is Izzy?” He was even seen drinking a large pint of beer and raising his arms in celebration. Fans were divided on their opinions after seeing this video and challenged him to defeat Izzy, which he did. And his post win party scenes have only added to Izzy’s troubles!

When CrashMMA’s Instagram handle posted a sneak peek into Du Plessis’ well earned celebrations, fans couldn’t help but swarm the comments with digs on Adesanya! Meanwhile, as the Nigerian Kiwi fighter prepares to open a second chapter in UFC, new threats brew in the horizon with a certain man known to have hands of stone teasing a middleweight comeback. Fans speculate about Dricus Du Plessis having fun

Dricus Du Plessis might be celebrating after the win but he is already planning for his next opponent. When he was asked about his plans he did say that he would like to fight Sean Strickland next and get over with their rematch. So a focused ‘Stillknocks’ only made the fans take digs at Izzy’s upset. While one fan pointed out his prowess and wrote, “Bro was drinking 1 week before the fight and still beat dizzy,” another appreciated his party game, “Pint in the morning, my man.” 

Nevertheless, the fans couldn’t help but gush about DDP, who has been on a back-to-back win streak. A fan complimented him saying, “DDP is a stud! ” The last slide in the post caught the attention of one, which had a video of the whole party where his team was having a blast, and he wrote, “The last slide is lit though.” And another did not forget to recall the ‘real African’ debate, as he wrote, “Group of Africans having fun.” Although seemingly the fighters are over it, the fans certainly are not!

One fan even brought Craig Jones and CJI into the mix of the whole debacle. He recalled and wrote, “Craig Jones would envy that man sling.” Another follower took the name of another fighter and added a little spice to the game, “ALEXA GRASSO NEXT.” One fan even mentioned how Izzy was crying at the post-fight presser speaking about the struggles his family went through. The fan recalled a nickname given to the fighter and said, “Haha the last cry Bender lost to this guy?” one follower  mentioned Du Plessis’s fight with Strickland and said, “Bro Iz barely hurt him he was crawling after Strickland, fookin happened Izzy!”
