Despite fame and fortune granting you some of the finer things in life, it also makes you somewhat of a target. The biggest consequence of this is the invasion of one’s personal space, especially when it comes to the sanctity of one’s home. For famous personalities, home intrusion can be a distressing reality. The need for privacy becomes a constant battle against unwanted attention.

Recently, Dana White, the President of the UFC, found himself in the unsettling situation of dealing with an attempted break-in at his home in Levant, Maine. White took to his Instagram story to share this unwelcome incident. Now, he is desperate to find out the perpetrator.

In the CCTV footage clip, a man can be seen attempting to kick open the front door of White’s residence forcefully. Failing in his attempt, the intruder quickly spots the surveillance camera trained on him. His response is swift as he attempts to remove the camera before making a hasty escape from the scene.

White shared a still image from the CCTV footage on his Instagram story, showcasing the partially visible face of the intruder. His caption was unambiguous, offering a reward of $2500 to the first person who could provide information leading to the identification of the intruder. “This f*ckface just tried to kick my front door in Levant, Maine. I will (give) 2500 dollars to the first person to let the police know who he is,” the UFC President stated.

White’s Instagram story also included a complete video of the incident, once again reiterating the reward and urging the public to assist in apprehending the individual. “2500 dollars to the first person to let the police in Levant know who this moron is,” he added. There seems to be something about people thinking they can break into the homes of people in the combat sports world and get away with it. A couple of years ago, a man made the oh-so-foolish choice of breaking into the house of a multiple-time UFC champion and easily one of the most dangerous men alive.

A UFC champion experienced a similar incident

On November 2, 2020, a UFC fighter posted the CCTV footage of the horrific incident on Instagram. In the video, a man could be seen trying to rob one of his cars. But soon, the former heavyweight and light-heavyweight champion came out of the garage with a double-barrel shotgun. Seeing this, the unknown robber made a run for his life as the martial artist sprinted behind him with the gun in his hand. This fighter is none other than UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Few would make the move to rob ‘Bones’ possessions out of all people, but the GOAT surprised the criminal with his next move.

Sharing this footage on Instagram, the UFC legend made strong statements about such incidents. “Next time you try to rob someone, make sure you’re fast enough to outrun them. He’s lucky I’m smart enough to not shoot a man while he’s retreating. People I know times are getting hard but your life isn’t worth a few material possessions,” the UFC champ wrote.
