The UFC 268 event is all set to be one of the most anticipated MMA events of the year. The much-awaited rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will headline this event. Now, according to recent news, the UFC has also added a middleweight bout between Edmen Shahbazyan and Nassourdine Imavov to the lineup.
Shahbazyan is currently No. 11 in the UFC middleweight rankings and is touted amongst the brightest prospects in the UFC. ‘The Golden Boy’ had an incredible start to his MMA career, winning his first 11 professional fights. However, the fighter then suffered 2 consecutive losses to take his professional MMA record to 11-2.

Nassourdine Imavov will come into the fight on the back of an impressive victory. In his last fight at UFC Vegas 32, ‘Russian Sniper’ defeated Ian Heinisch via a 2nd round TKO. Imavov is also a young fighter and many think he has the potential to become the next superstar of the UFC. ‘Russian Sniper’ currently has an MMA record of 10-3 and has won 2 out of his 3 UFC fights.
Shahbazyan and Imavov are both young talented fighters and are looking to make a mark on the UFC. Therefore, when these two young fighters compete at UFC 268, it will be an entertaining affair.

The UFC 268 event is all set to happen on November 6, 2021. The venue is yet undecided, but the event will most probably happen in New York. Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will headline the event. This clash will be the rematch of their UFC 245 fight and will be for the welterweight title.
Apart from this, a middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold and Sean Strickland is also set to happen. Following this, a blockbuster fight between Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje will happen at the event.
